Agronomy Update – March 15th

Hi everyone.  I hope everyone is well.  Snowfall for most of the Island was less than forecast, but a little more is forecast for tonight/tomorrow.  I hope everyone is having a productive week as we get closer to spring.

Videos from Seed Workshops:

I have uploaded the videos and the PDFs of presentations to the Agronomy Site from the AIM Seed Workshops held last week:

AIM Local Workshops:  Seed Management

  • Newton Yorinori, Cavendish Farms – Seed Management (PDF | Video)
  • Dr. Rick Peters, AAFC – Seed-Borne Diseases (PDF | Video)
  • Ryan Barrett, PEI Potato Board – Producing a Smaller Seed Profile (PDF | Video)

Thanks to those that attended.  That is it for our AIM local workshops for this winter, but there will still be a few more knowledge transfer opportunities before spring.
